Step 1
Warm Up Account
Don't post your first video right away! To avoid low views and maximize your reach, spend 1–2 days warming up your account:
- Follow 10–20 accounts in your target niche.
- Like and comment on 10–20 videos per day (genuine, non-spammy comments).
- Watch videos all the way through, especially in your chosen niche.
- Post a profile picture and fill out your bio with relevant keywords.
- Engage with trending or recent content, not just viral videos.
This signals to the platform that you're a real, active user and helps your first uploads get shown to more people.
Step 2
Pick a Niche
Choose a niche that's in demand but not over-saturated.
Check the Monetization Guide for Promotion Campaigns that get you monetized from day one.
Monetization Guide- Browse TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Reels to spot categories with lots of views but not too many creators.
- Look for topics with recent viral videos but where the top videos are 1–3 months old (less competition).
- Check hashtags and search terms - avoid niches where every video has millions of views and thousands of creators.
- Consider emerging trends, new tech, or unique perspectives in popular categories.
- Pick something you're genuinely interested in - passion helps you stay consistent and spot trends early.
Tip: If you're not sure, start with a sub-niche (e.g. "motivational stories for teens" instead of just "motivation").
