A high-angle wide shot from above the soundstage captures a sprawling film studio: a massive cobalt blue screen fills the back wall, a glossy water wave tank stretches across the frame, and a highly detailed miniature coastal city—high-rise buildings, sun-bleached streets, a sandy beach with leaning palm trees and a pier with a Ferris wheel—sits on the tank edge. Overhead lighting rigs cast bright, even daylight with a cool blue spill from the backdrop; labels reading "T-REX" and "SERVICEVISION" are visible on the camera crane, and several adult male crew in black t-shirts and shorts move around the tank, some shirts clearly reading "EFFECTS CREW." The camera is handheld at eye-level but from high above, using a 24mm lens and deep depth of field to keep the miniature and crew in sharp focus. As the director shouts "Action," the frame slow-pans right, tracking a single sweeping wave: glassy, churning water surges forward across the tank, slamming into the miniature pier and Ferris wheel. Water cascades over the beach, toppling tiny palm trees and sluicing down the model streets; one detailed high-rise groans and collapses in a measured cascade of debris. Crew members move precisely with dolly and crane, cameras on tracks and the crane arm following the destruction; the handheld operator maintains a smooth rightward pan that follows the wave line from pier to collapsing tower. Ambient studio noises—metal clanks from rigs, soft footsteps on catwalks—blend with the dominating rush of water. The wave dissipates into ripples, crew members adjust lenses and repeat takes as the director calls "Cut," the camera finishing its rightward arc on the ruined miniature and the damp tank edge. Director (urgent): 'Action!' Director (encouraging): 'Good job! Keep rolling! Camera three, stay on the tower!' Director (firm): 'Cut!'
